Hugh McPherson, 42, has been telling people to ‘get lost’ since 1997, when, fresh out of Penn State’s Agricultural Business Management school, he launched Maize Quest on his family's farm, one of the first corn mazes in the world. Maize Quest has grown into a franchise system of 84 farm-based locations in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., each offering agritourism events on the local farms. Maize Quest’s Corn Maze Operators collectively entertain over 650,000 guests annually generating over $10 million in economic benefit to the farmer-operators.  Maize Quest’s B2B division delivers mazes, games, hayride audio systems, and pedal karts to farm-based clients. Agritourism Manager Boot Camp, a LIVE online class, delivered through CustomerHub, is the premiere seasonal employee training system for pumpkin patch and farm market operations. B2C: The Maize Quest Corn Maze & Fun Park at the home farm is a Fall Harvest destination offering over 35 attractions, plus apple picking, pumpkin picking, farm market, bakery and the newest addition, Maple Lawn Winery.  Infusionsoft is critical to managing and growing this diverse business.
